The way to success: Getting started as a PhD student

What drives me? You have successfully completed your higher education. Now you would like to intensively explore scientific future topics. Your next aim: the promotion.

With us you have sufficient time to put your results to paper - about half the time of your postgraduate training will be at your disposal. You shall use the other half to gather valuable practical experience. You are involved in a professional team - always at eye level - and gain fascinating insights into the company.

Procedure

. Fixed-term employment contract for 3 years (extension to a maximum of 4 years possible)
. Design: 51% of the working time is used to prepare the thesis, 49% learning on the job
. Obviously there will be a technical advisor, a doctoral supervisor of a university as well as the PhD student coordination at your side providing advice.

My tasks

. The scientific processing of future topics with high practical relevance is one of your core areas.
. Additional modules such as production deployment, deployment in branches, seminars, and network meetings (e.g. participation in PhD forum) round off the programme for PhD students.

Requirements – my profile

. Above-average university degree with access to doctoral studies
. A high level of commitment and motivation
. Fun in scientific working
. Strongly pronounced analytical skills
. Ability to communicate and work in a team
. Good knowledge of English is desirable
